Will of Thompson Hall

The last will and testament of Thompson Hall of the county of Sangamon and the state of Illinois.
I, Thompson Hall, of the county of Sangamon and the state of Illinois, do make publish and declare this to be my last will and testament.
Item first:
It is my will and desire that all of my just debts and funeral expenses be first fully paid off and discharged.
Item second:
I give devise and bequeath to my son George T. Hall, in fee simple forever, the following described real estate, towit, the south half of the following described tract of land, towit, the northwest fractional quarter of section No. Two (2) in Township; Thirteen (13) north range No. Seven (7), west of the north principle meridian. Also a part of the northeast quarter of the southwest quarter of Section No. Twenty-six (26), in Township No. Fourteen (14), north range No. Seven (7), west of the Third principle meridian, beginning twelve (12) rods west from the southwest corner of said quarter, greater section, thence west sixteen (16) rods, thence north Forty (40) rods; thence east sixteen (16) rods, thence south forty rods to the place of beginning, containing four (4) acres, more or less. Also, three (3) acres off the southeast corner of the northeast quarter of the southwest quarter of Section No. Twenty-six (26) in Township No. Fourteen (14), north of Range No. Seven (7) west; said tract of land being forty (40) rods in length from north to south and twelve (12) rods in width from east to west. Also, the north half of the southeast quarter of the southeast quarter of Section No. Twenty-six (26), Township No. Fourteen (14), north of Range No. Seven (7) west of said meridian, containing twenty (20) acres. And also, the south half of the northwest quarter of the southeast quarter of Section No. Twenty-six (26), Township No. Fourteen (14), north of Range No. Seven (7) west of said meridian. And all situated in the county of Sangamon and the state of Illinois.
Item third:
I do hereby constitute and appoint William T. Hall executor of my last will and testament and do hereby ____ that he be not required to give any bond or surety for the faithful performance of his executorship.
