According to Lucy Dodd Miller's notes, Oscar and "Ollie" were married on the front porch of the old Cobb house, and when they left for Cheadle, Alberta, Canada, on March 17,1909, John Robinson went with them.
According to Letetia Gentis, he lived in Spokane WA, at 609 W. Hawthorne Rd. The home is currently the Sara Auld Alumni House for Whitworth College. It was willed to Whitworth after the last Miller child died (Sara Auld). 7/14/2003 Oscar worked at Waikiki Dairy Farms which was owned by J. P. Graves. It was a side business of his, located on his picturesque and expansive estate near Whitworth College. It was run by the Auld's and later the Poston's. Biography: from 1987: OSCAR E. MILLER was an intelligent men who loved inventing gadgets to make farming easier. Many of these items were patented. He was a college graduate in 1900 and was a star in track and field, breaking many records. He died of a stroke.
